That’s about as coherent as I can be right now.

Anya did not have another fantastic evening this past night. From what we have read, we think she must be having a growth spurt, which is pretty common around 7 to 10 days of age. Babies typically will have a day where they sleep a bunch, and then the next day they are ravenous eaters. Anya got up to feed every hour to an hour and a half last night, and each time she nursed for a minimum of a half hour, often on both sides, and she’s still going. I have no idea how there’s anything left in there for her to eat, but apparently my body is keeping up, since she seems satisfied. She’s finally sleeping in Lex’s arms as I write this. I’m not sure why I am not sleeping.
