Anya turned one today! We had a pretty normal day – Lex and I worked, and she went to day care. Tonight we celebrated by going out to dinner with some of my family, including my sister Samantha, who came in from Penn State to celebrate both Anya’s birthday and her own 21st birthday, which is on Monday (Happy birthday, Sam!). Tomorrow we have the parties!

I find it mind-boggling that in just one year Anya transformed from this tiny, helpless, blotchy mush into a beautiful, intelligent, bubbly little person. Here are all of Anya’s bear pictures from her first year (Thanks for the idea, Saina!). It’s pretty amazing to see how she’s grown.
