No Need to Get Bent Out of Shape
Yesterday Anya and I were playing with the shape sorter on the refrigerator door of her Laugh and Learn Kitchen. She was having a little trouble fitting the square and the triangle into the right slots. After several fruitless efforts, she finally exclaimed “Open!” as if to say “This is stupid!” She then yanked open the door to the fridge and shoved the shapes into the large slot in the back.
She was very pleased with herself.

Sometimes an alternate solution works. Overcoming obstacles in creative ways is clever!

That is too cute!!! Braiden will do the same – he’ll concentrate really hard on something, but at some point his attention span just snaps.
