Tylenol is THE BEST

I didn’t feel like the best mom ever today. Anya had a 101 degree fever, and I didn’t figure it out until about 10 minutes before we were going to leave to take her to day care. Poor baby girl; she really didn’t feel well, but I just thought she was a little tired because she woke up at 5:45 this morning. Luckily, my sister Sam is home from school this week and she was able to watch her so I could go to work, since there’s no way I can get a sub if I call out an hour before I’m supposed to be at school.

I do want to give a big thumbs up to the makers of Tylenol. The first dose didn’t help too much with the crankiness, but then again Mommy wasn’t there and Anya needed more sleep. However, the second dose was amazing! After an hour that included a short nap on my shoulder, Anya was laughing, playing, making jokes, and eating enough to feed a horse. It really is a great medicine. They should market it with the slogan “It’s the Anya you know and love, now in concentrated infant drops.” Of course, that might limit their marketability some, but I’d still buy it!

Perhaps, you’re not really such a bad mom. It wouldn’t be good to be overly anxious and immediately assume your child was sick whenever she was less charming than usual. That attitude would create a spoiled, hypochondriacal little girl.

    I’m glad the Tylenol helped.

Ny next year that brilliant and very verbal baby will simply tell you if she’s not feeling well, and perhaps she’ll even present you with a differential diagnosis.

I love your slogan for Tylenol! Braiden is getting his molars in… and sometimes the change in him is amazing, after the meds kick in when it’s really bad.

Sorry to hear about the roseola! So cool though that she was able to tell you that it hurt. Hope it’s getting better!!
