For the first time in I think her entire 18+ months of life outside the womb, I successfully cut Anya’s fingernails while she was awake earlier this week! I kept her distracted by letting her watch videos of herself on the blog, and though it took some doing, I got all ten of them trimmed. I usually wait until the weekend and cut them while she naps, but what can I say? I’ve been a little lazy and let it slide to a point that was dangerously approaching talons. It’s much easier with her asleep, but at least I know I have a backup plan. Now, about those toenails…
