How Anya sits in her high chair
This is how Anya sits in her high chair, every time:
She’ll keep her feet like that for most of the meal. I don’t see how that can possibly be comfortable, but it seems to work for her!

I can’t believe she’ll sit in a high chair! Ours has been in a corner collecting cobwebs since December!

Anya loves her high chair! Maybe it has something to do with being a first-born and an only child (for now).

Thats funny. We haven’t used our high chair in months, because Ethan climbed out of it every time. Straps don’t even hold him in. Now we have one of those “portable” chairs that we strap on to a regular chair, and he uses that. Still climbs out of it tho. I really need to find a better seat for him!

Nevan used to sit like that! I thought his toes were going to go numb. We switched to restaurant style high chairs (easier to clean) but I miss the confinement of those!

Jamie - I was always amazed to read about the October 06 babies who were climbing out of their chairs. There’s no way Anya could wiggle out of hers, especially with the shoulder straps. We also have a booster seat (the kind that straps onto a regular chair), mostly for when we go to visit friends, and Anya loves sitting in that as well. She’s not much of an escape artist!
Erica - I bet restaurant style high chairs take up a lot less space! The only thing I prefer about a regular high chair is the tray, although one place we ate at recently had a tray that snapped onto their high chair, and I thought that was neat.
