Sierra’s Simchat Bat
We had a Simchat Bat (a Hebrew baby naming ceremony) for Sierra this past Sunday, held at my parents’ house. Lex both wrote and led the ceremony, and it was lovely. We gave her the Hebrew name Shira Yael. Many of our family members and friends were able to be there to celebrate with us. We took many photos, but here are some highlights:

Beautiful pictures, wonderful song – from what I could hear, which was mostly the piano….any chance you could post the lyrics? I wish I could have been there. Shira Yael – such a beautiful name, for such a beautiful girl. Much love to all!

Love the color of the Moby. Her naming ceremony sounds lovely. Lex is a great Daddy writing a song AND ceremony!

Marnie – Thanks! You’ll have to ask your brother about the lyrics; that’s his department 🙂 We wish you could have been there, too.
Erica – I just love the Moby, period! I still need a little practice with it, I think, but I’m getting better. Lex IS a great daddy, I have to agree.
