Breakfast Conversations

Daddy: Did you eat your cheese, or did you put it somewhere?
Anya: I put it somewhere.
Daddy: Where?
Anya: In my mouth.

Anya: Deers!
(She was correct. There were lots of deer in the backyard.)
Anya (cont’d): Later, we can go in the woods with Mommy and Sierra and Daddy and Anya and play with the deers. Because they love us!
(Daddy retells this story to Mommy.)
Anya: And Charlie, too!

Potty all the time

Sierra was having a rough morning today (after a rough night, too). She complained throughout Anya’s breakfast, so once I had Anya on the potty, I took Sierra upstairs to try to get her to take a nap.

I failed. But when I went back downstairs to Anya on the potty, her pants and underwear were on the floor, and her socks — of course — were on her hands.

Tucson Trip

I am SO behind on blog posts and don’t know how I will ever catch up.  I guess I have to start somewhere, so our Tucson trip it is!

We went to visit Papa Ducky and Grammy for Passover back in April and had a great time.  It was Sierra’s first time on a plane – well, four planes, actually, since we had a stopover in Chicago both ways.  Our flight days were long and each girl had her moments, but for the most part they were pretty good travelers.

Aside from the seders, we had fun going on trips to the zoo and the park, swimming in the pool, taking walks, and spending time playing with all the neat toys Papa Ducky and Grammy had waiting for the girls.  See pictures from our trip here and check out the video:
